Aloha and Merry Christmas Eve

6 hours and 35 minutes of travel later and I have arrived in one of the most beautiful places on Earth-Hawaii. I cannot express how excited I am to finally be visiting. My brother has lived here for years now and has tried before to get the family out to visit, and this year we finally made it happen. What better timing too than for a family Christmas holiday?

My first day here we briefly began to explore the northern part of the island. Here, only a mere 4 minute walk from where we are staying, we stumbled upon the legendary surf beaches. Even though the winds were not so forgiving today, we still saw some strong willed riders board up and out into the crashing waves. Want to know one of my favorite things about where we are staying? Well I’m going to tell you anyways…we are walking distance from a local bakery! Aloha and Hallelujah! I mean what else do you need on vacation but beach, waves, coffee, and pastries-BOOM!

I can’t believe it’s Christmas Eve and here we are sitting in a beach house with our homemade Charlie Brown-esque tree. So cheers to a beautiful way to spend Christmas and I can’t wait to share my Hawaiian adventures.
